"Bracelets received, records made, and the work continues..."

HONOLULU, Hawaii >>The Na Wahine Softball Booster Club wishes to extend a big "MAHALO" to the dozens and dozens of donors that helped contribute to the purchase of the 2010 WAC Championship/Women's College World Series bracelets. The current and on-going efforts to help support this program were founded back in 2007 and will continue to do so with the help of many people such as those out there that assisted for this cause.

2010 truly was a historical year for UH softball. Not only did the team break the NCAA home run record (158), appear in the Women's College World Series for the first time, and swept all the Western Athletic Conference softball honors, seniors Amanda Tauali'i, Kanani Pu'u-Warren, Traci Yoshikawa, and Katie Grimes made their own history together. As of the 2010 season, they are the only Rainbow Wahine to have ever won two conference championships during their NCAA eligibility as active players on the roster. All four were freshmen for the WAC regular season championship in 2007 and finished their UH playing careers as seniors with the 2010 WAC regular season and WAC tournament championships.

The roster for the 2011 Rainbow Wahine softball team has been updated with photos of each player at

While the fall season has ended, the Rainbow Wahine softball team continues their physical conditioning efforts to ensure a successful 2011 campaign.

As of 11/20/2010, we have 27 booster club members for the 2011 season and no doubt that will continue to grow. Please join us as all funds received from booster club membership fees goes directly towards supporting the coaching staff and the players of Rainbow Wahine softball.

Mark your calendars softball fans!!! The FIRST game of the 2011 season is on Thursday February 10, 2011 against Southern Utah. First pitch is at 6pm. The complete schedule can be found at
